The lamé fabric extends in an asymmetrical long peplum to cover part of the plain black rayon skirt and give a layered effect

It is only visible when really bright light hits it at a certain angle and we had to enhance the picture so it can be seen

The shape defining nipped waist and padded shoulders give this piece that distinctive and desirable 1940s silhouette

The garment is in very good condition to the exterior with only a small hole on the wearer’s right sleeve

Original Vintage 1930s 30s Brown Pierced Felt Scull Cap Hat cape Length: 40 1/2” plus 1This stunning hat was made from brown felt in the 1930s. It is cut in a classic close fitting scull cap style and has been adorned throughout with triangular pierced work arranged in a geometric pattern. The left side of the hat is decorated with soft fluffy feathers and two faux pearl hat pins secure the hat at the back.
