60's Matte Silver Basketweave Mesh Purse by Whiting and Davis filigree 100% Nylon Made in theWhiting & Davis handbag in matte silver aluminum with large scale interlocking mesh pieces and a basketweave embossed frame. Silver snake coil handle that can be tucked into the bag if you'd rather use it as a clutch. Lined with beige silk faille fabric. The purse presents beautifully but there are a couple of flaws. It is missing one metal piece on the side (shown). The interior lining had some stains. It's hard to date these bags. It is post WWII
