Description

Kastrup and Fyens Glasværk from the late 1800s until the 1940s

The glass is the uncut version of the well-known Derby glass - it is also called Poor Man's Derby

and it is cut with intersecting lines

It is polished with cross-cuts and palmettes to reflect the electric light that appeared in private homes at that time

Neptun champagneglas Drikkeglas Kastrup and Fyens Glasværk fromHeight 20 cm. Neptun was designed by Darryle Hinz in 1987 for Holmegaard Glasvrk. The glass goes out of production in 1998. Up until the turn of the millennium 1999 2000, the glass is briefly produced as champagne flutes with a gilded conch in either gold, silver or platinum. The glasses are in perfect condition.
